Special
Examination Arrangements, recently renamed
and now referred to as Access Arrangements,
can be put in place for pupils entered for
public examinations, but who have particular
difficulties which it is considered, need
acknowledgment. Pupils diagnosed by a suitably
qualified professional, can qualify for appropriate
Access Arrangements and these might include
additional time, a reader, a scribe, use
of a word processor, and the writing of the
examination in a separate room.
